Abstract

Dimension Data is a member of the NTT Group. The implementation of employee performance appraisal is very important to do to help management in making decisions regarding bonuses,
promotions, salary increases, transfers to the same unit or termination of employment with the company. For this reason, information that is important for the placement decision is needed through work performance assessment. From
this achievement assessment it can be seen whether the placement is right or needs to be moved to another part or maybe promoted. Respondents involved in this study were 120 respondents, obtained by primary data questionnaires and
secondary data documentation. Data analysis was done by Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) method with the help of SPSS Software version 23. The
equation above illustrates the constant value (a) of 26,213 indicating that if the work performance assessment or X = 0, then the promotion is 26,213. The beta coefficient (b) of 0.380 indicates that if the employee's work performance
assessment is increased by 1 point then it will increase the promotion by 0.380. This regression equation is significant at the level of α = 0.05 because the degree
of significance of the test is 0.000 <0.05. The results of the analysis showed that the assessment of employee work performance had significant effect on job promotion at PT. Dimension Data Indonesia. The magnitude of the effect of work performance appraisal on job promotion. Suggestions that can be put forward in this study are so that employees can better complete the tasks assigned in accordance with a predetermined time limit. The thing that needs to be
maintained is the condition of the work space and office layout that can make employees comfortable at work.
